By installing or using the Couch browser extension (“the extension”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.

What Couch is

Couch is a free tool that synchronizes Netflix playback among friends and provides a group chat, voice, and video call. Each participant must have their own Netflix account and open the same title. Couch does not provide, stream, copy, or store any video content.

Acceptable use

• Use the extension only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Respect Netflix's Terms of Use and all applicable laws.
• Do not use the call or chat features to harass, abuse, or share unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to circumvent content protection or redistribute any content.

Couch is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Inc. “Netflix” is a trademark of Netflix, Inc. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

“As is”, no warranty

The extension is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future changes to Netflix or your browser. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the extension.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
